Donovan Mitchell Crushes Rim With Emphatic Slam Dunk Against Lakers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell threw down a forceful slam dunk during the third quarter against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Jazz hosted the Lakers at Vivint Arena on Wednesday, February 24.
With 5:02 left to play in the third quarter, Mitchell blew past a Laker defender and rose up for a rim rocking jam.
The slam dunk extended Utah’s led over Los Angeles to 81-57.

After the play, the All-Star guard was nearing a triple-double with eight points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.
He also had one steal during his first 25 minutes on the court.

Utah built its lead after shooting 53.6 percent overall and 51.7 percent on three-pointers.

The Jazz were led by Rudy Gobert’s 16 points.
The Lakers struggled against Utah’s defense and shot 38.6 percent from the field up to that point in the contest.
Los Angeles was led by LeBron James’ 16 points.
