Chargers CB Michael Davis Intercepts Pass, Sets Up Game-Winning Field Goal Against Falcons

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Michael Davis intercepted a pass and set up a game-winning field goal against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Chargers hosted the Falcons on Sunday, December 13.
With the game tied at 17-17 and 36 seconds left to play, Davis picked off Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and returned the ball eight yards to the Los Angeles 41-yard line.

Five plays later, Chargers kicker Michael Badgley made a 43-yard field goal as time expired.
The kick gave Los Angeles a 20-17 victory.

Davis finished the contest with two pass breakups and an interception.

It was Davis’ third interception of the season.
With the win, Los Angeles improved to 4-9 on the season.
The Chargers’ next game is against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday, December 17 at 6:20 p.m. (MDT). The Chargers and Raiders game will broadcast on FOX.
