Justin Bean’s 21 Points Help Utah State Cruise Past College Of Idaho

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State picked up their first win at the Spectrum in the 2020-21 with a 90-64 win over the College of Idaho.
The Aggies struggled in the first half, outscoring the Yotes 44-33 in the first 20 minutes. They turned it up a notch in the second half by outscoring the College of Idaho 46-31.
Justin Bean led all scorers with 21 points, while pulling down 7 rebounds. He shot 6-of-7 from the field and a perfect 9-for-9 at the foul line. Steven Ashworth dropped 15 points and 7 assists in the win for Utah State.

Rollie Worster and Sean Bairstow each scored 11 points apiece. Neemias Queta had 8 points and 8 rebounds in 19 minutes on the floor.
Utah State shot 51 percent from the field, while knocking down just four of their 12 attempts from the three-point line. They had a lot of trips to the free throw line, making 26 of their 30 attempts.
They outrebounded the Yotes 40-24 and had 18 assists to their 13.
The Aggies improved their record to 2-3 on the season. They will hit the road on Saturday, December 12 to face the Weber State Wildcats. Tip-off from the Dee Event Center will be at 2 p.m. MST and will be televised on KJZZ.
