Utah State Opens Game Against Air Force With 15-Play Touchdown Drive

LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies started their football game against the Air Force Falcons with a 15-play touchdown drive to take an early lead.

Utah State hosted Air Force at Maverik Stadium on Thursday, December 3.
The Aggies received the opening kick-off before marching 65 yards down the field and into the end zone.
USU quarterback Andrew Peasley connected with wide receiver Jordan Nathan for a four-yard touchdown to cap a 15-play drive that took 8:04 off the clock.

The Peasley-Nathan connection gave Utah State a 7-0 lead with 6:56 remaining in the first quarter.
After the possession, Peasley was 3/4 passing for 30 yards and a touchdown.
The quarterback also had one carry for 14 yards on the drive.

Utah State entered the contest with a 1-4 record after picking up its first victory of the season a week earlier on Thanksgiving Day.
