Morgan, Juab Advance To 3A Championship With Semifinal Wins

CEDAR CITY, Utah – The 3A State Championship game is set after the top two teams in the classification will battle for the top prize in high school football.
Here is how Juab and Morgan won their semifinal games in the 3A state football tournament.
No. 1 Juab 20 vs. No. 12 Delta 12
Delta’s magical run through the 3A playoffs came to an end at the hands of Juab. The Wasps jumped out to a 20-6 lead at the halftime break and the Rabbits were only able to get six points in the second half. For Juab, Trey Lund rushed for 103 yards and one touchdown, while Shan Jackson adding a rushing TD. Alex Jackson threw for 164 yards and one touchdown, connecting with Dawson Olsen.
Juab will advance to the 3A State Championship game and will face No. 2 Morgan (8-2) on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 5:30 p.m. MT at Dixie State University.
No. 2 Morgan 28 vs. No. 6 Grantsville 0
Ryder Lish ran in three touchdowns for the Trojans, along with a 60-yard pick six from Tanner Stanley.
Morgan will move on to the 3A State Championship game and will battle No. 1 Juab (11-1) on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 5:30 p.m. MT at Dixie State University.
