Kearns High School Senior Awarded Scholarship For Academic, Athletic Accomplishments

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – University Federal Credit Union awarded Kearns High School Senior Forrest Weaver a scholarship for his academic and athletic achievements during his high school career.
The Kearns senior was awarded the third scholarship given out by University Federal Credit Union this season. Weaver was awarded a $500 scholarship.
Every week during the high school football season, a scholarship will be awarded to a student-athlete.

Weaver has posted an excellent academic career at Kearns. He owns a 3.5 GPA while acting as the golf captain for two years, a madrigals section leader, performing arts member and a varsity tennis player.
Weaver plans on taking his talents to the University of Utah where he hopes to achieve a Pharmaceutical degree. During his senior year at Kearns, Weaver will be taking a pharmacy tech class to better prepare him for college.
Furthermore, Weaver has been playing the violin for 10 years and has performed with his group, Vivace, in China.
