Corner Canyon Academic, Athletic Star Emilee Anselmo Awarded Scholorship

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – University Federal Credit Union awarded Corner Canyon Senior Emilee Anselmo a scholarship for her academic and athletic achievements during her high school career.
The Corner Canyon senior was awarded the second scholarship given out by University Federal Credit Union this season. Anselmo was awarded a $500 scholarship.
Every week during the high school football season, a scholarship will be awarded to a student-athlete.
Anselmo has posted an excellent academic career at Corner Canyon. She owns a 3.996 GPA while playing four years as a member of the volleyball team, three of the years having played on the varsity team. Anselmo was also a member of the track and cross country team.

While studying, she has found time to work and provide for herself. She hopes to attend BYU and has aspirations to join the Mayor’s Youth Council.
Anselmo’s younger sister had a speech impediment when she was younger, which influenced Anselmo to pursue a degree in psychology. Her desire is to help people, to make a difference and to impact those around her.
