SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jimmer Fredette’s senior year with BYU Basketball ranked among the best individual seasons put together by a college basketball player in the one-and-done era, according to ESPN’s John Gasaway.

The college basketball writer ranked the top 50 individual seasons since 2007.

Fredette’s final year in Provo earned him the No. 10 spot on Gasaway’s list.

“Since he averaged 28.9 points nine years ago, that mark has been topped by just two players,” Gasaway wrote.

Top 10 Individual Seasons

Gasaway ranked nine former college basketball stars ahead of Fredette, five of which played after the BYU legend’s final collegiate season.

  1. Zion Williamson (2019 – Duke)
  2. Stephen Curry (2008 – Davidson)
  3. Anthony Davis (2012 – Kentucky)
  4. Kevin Durant (2007 – Texas)
  5. Frank Kaminsky (2015 – Wisconsin)
  6. Kemba Walker (2011 – UConn)
  7. Buddy Hield (2016 – Oklahoma)
  8. Ty Lawson (2009 – North Carolina)
  9. Trae Young (2018 – Oklahoma)
  10. Jimmer Fredette (2011 – BYU)
