SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Tony Finau entered the second day at Colonial Country Club five shots off the lead after shooting a two-under-round during the first day of play. Following play on day two, Finau now finds himself x shots off the lead.
Finau made the cut by three shots, however.
Three of the last four holes were birdied by Finau to round out his first round, the momentum carried into the start of the second day as he birdied the first two holes. However, unfortunately, the rust of not competing crept back into his game as the Salt Lake native was only able to add one more birdie to his scorecard while also tallying two bogeys.
Finau ended the second day of play with a one under-score of 69.
Here are some stats from Tony’s round:
Average Driving Distance: 329.5 yards
Driving Accuracy: 50%(7 out of 14 fairways)
Greens In Regulation: 72.2%(13 out of 18 greens)
