SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former University of Utah quarterback Tyler Huntley was not invited to this year’s NFL Combine.

Huntley reacted to the news on Twitter simply with a laughing emoji.

NFL MVP and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson responded to Huntley’s with a shushing emoji.

“After the season he has had, it is surprising to me that he didn’t get an invite,” said Tom Hackett, KSL Sports contributor and sideline reporter for the Utah football game.

Huntley had his best year this last season, at one point the school put on a Heisman campaign for the senior quarterback.

During his senior season, Huntley threw for 3,092 yards, had 19 touchdowns and only four interceptions. He led the Utah football team to the Pac-12 Championship game where they lost to Oregon.

Here is a list of the quarterbacks that have been invited to the combine.

  • Kelly Bryant, Missouri
  • Joe Burrow, LSU
  • Kevin Davidson, Princeton
  • Jacob Eason, Washington
  • Jake Fromm, Georgia
  • Anthony Gordon, Washington State
  • Justin Herbert, Oregon
  • Jalen Hurts, Oklahoma
  • Brian Lewerke, Michigan State

  • Jake Luton, Oregon State
  • Cole McDonald, Hawaii
  • Steven Montez, Colorado
  • James Morgan, Florida International
  • Shea Patterson, Michigan
  • Nate Stanley, Iowa
  • Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama

The NFL Combine is in Indianapolis, Indiana between February 24 and March 1.

Jordan Love

Utah State Aggies quarterback Jordan Love was invited to the combine but that is no surprise to anyone who follows football.

Plenty of mock drafts have Love going in the first round of the NFL Draft.

The NFL Draft runs from April 23 to April 25 in Las Vegas Nevada.
