LOGAN, Utah – Utah State quarterback Jordan Love was taken in the first round of Yahoo! Sports’ Mock Draft.
The Aggies’ QB was projected to be taken with the 20th overall selection according to the mock draft published on October 3 by Eric Edholm.
According to the mock draft, Love would take over as the signal-caller for the Minnesota Vikings next season.

“We’re excited to see if Love can bounce back after a tough game against Colorado State, and a good game at LSU this weekend would wipe out some of those concerns,” said Edholm.
Love and the Aggies head to LSU on Saturday, October 6 to face the Tigers at 10 a.m. (MDT). The Tigers are currently ranked fifth in the country and a quality performance in front of NFL scouts will only help to improve Love’s stock.
The mock draft has Love as the fifth quarterback taken in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama), Justin Herbert (Oregon), Jacob Eason (Washington), and Jake Fromm (Georgia) were selected higher than Love.
“You also could mock Love to the Chargers (he’s an L.A. kid, by the way) and Fromm to the Vikings, and we certainly could get behind that idea, too,” said Edholm.
