Damian Lillard Honored As Member Of First Big Sky Hall Of Fame Class

OGDEN, Utah – Former Weber State Wildcat and current Portland Trailblazers guard Damian Lillard was named as a member of the inaugural Big Sky Conference Hall of Fame class.
Lillard played for the Wildcats from 2008-2012 before he was drafted by the Blazers with the 6th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
The former Weber State guard is one of 14 members of the 2019 hall of fame class.

Lillard left Ogden as a two-time Big Sky MVP and three-time first-team All-Big Sky selection. The former Weber State guard was second in the nation scoring average his senior season posting 24.5 points per game.
He scored 1,934 points during his time as a Wildcat. He is Weber State’s all-time leader in made free throws with 520. His jersey was retired by the university in 2017.

After joining the Blazers, he won the NBA’s Rookie of the Year honor in 2013. He’s been a four-time All-Star selection and a four-time All-NBA member.
Lillard is currently in his eighth NBA season. He is averaging 26.9 points and 7.3 assists per contest. Those numbers rank in the top-10 in the league.
