Rudy Gobert Promoted To KSLSports.com Reporter During Jazz Postgame

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert didn’t play against the New Orleans Pelicans. That didn’t stop the big man from being involved in postgame interviews. Gobert picked up a KSL Sports microphone, went into reporter mode, and interviewed the teammate that filled in for him against the Pels.
Gobert missed the game against New Orleans on Saturday, November 23 due to a left ankle sprain.
After the game, the defensive player of the year borrowed a KSL Sports mic and interviewed fellow Jazz center Tony Bradley, who got his first NBA start in place of the injured Gobert.
“Hey Tone, how did you feel out there tonight?” Gobert asked Bradley.

Gobert tested out the ankle during pregame warmups and wasn’t able to go against New Orleans. Bradley played 22 minutes in relief of the DPOY.
The third-year Jazzman recorded 14 points on 7-8 shooting. He pulled down 9 rebounds including 2 offensive boards. Bradley added a block to his stat line in Utah’s 128-120 win. He was a +1 in +/- for his time on the floor.

The Jazz moved to 11-5 on the season with the victory. They sit in second place in the Northwest Division.
Utah begins a five-game road trip when they play the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, November 25 at 6 p.m. That game will be broadcast on NBA TV and 97.5 FM.
