SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz and a few of Utah’s local sports teams had some fun and celebrated Halloween on social media.
Many of the teams changed their social media names, profile pictures, and posted about the holiday on Thursday, October 30.
The Utah Jazz, Real Salt Lake, Utah football, BYU men’s basketball, and Utah Valley men’s basketball all participated in Halloween social media celebrations.
Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz, I mean, Boo-tah Jazz are shaping up to be a scary team in the Western Conference. Boo-tah’s offense came to life against the Los Angeles Clippers on October 30 and the Jazz moved to 4-1 on the season.
What do you think of the #BooProfilePic on the Jazz’s Twitter account? Mummified.

Real Salt Lake
The claret and cobalt finds itself in an eery state without a general manager and a head coach but that didn’t stop RSL midfielder Luke Mulholland from getting into the spirit of Halloween this year.
Real Salt Lake posted photos of Mulholland dressed up as a character from the movie “Up”. The midfielder dressed up for the holiday and took photos outside of a South Jordan home that resembles one from the movie.
Anyone else using a building as part of their costume?

Utah Utes
The Utah football team is haunting teams on defense right now. The Utes are fresh off a “Dark Mode” victory and getting ready for a Pac-12 showdown with Washington. Their Halloween post on Twitter might look similar to what opposing offenses have seen in recent weeks.
Who knew Jaylon Johnson had red eyes?

BYU Cougars
The BYU men’s basketball team just received word that Alex Barcello would be eligible to play this season. That’s scary news for teams on the Cougars schedule, especially when Yoeli Childs returns after a nine-game suspension. The Cougs are gearing up for an exhibition with UT Tyler on November 1 with some mobile wallpapers.
It looks like Mark Pope’s favorite show on Netflix is “Stranger Things.”

Utah State Aggies
The Aggies weren’t zombies in their lone exhibition game against the College of Idaho on October 30. Utah State sent the Coyotes home with a 103-66 loss. The No. 17 team in college basketball is sure to put some fear in the eyes opponents this season.
Does anyone else want to see this Halloween Aggie logo on a football helmet?

Utah Valley Wolverines
The UVU men’s “boo-sketball” team is entering its first season under new head coach Mark Madsen. The Wolverines are looking for Madsen to bring a little magic that brought him a couple of championships during his playing days to Orem.
On Halloween, UVU’s athletic director Jared Sumsion joined some students in dressing up to celebrate the holiday. How would you rate his Luigi costume?
