Utes Ranked In AP Preseason Poll; Aggies Receive Votes

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The college football season will begin this weekend with “Week 0” games, leading up to that, the Associated Press released their preseason Top 25 poll.
The rankings will reflect this poll until the midway point of the season when the College Football Playoff Selection Committee will release their Top 25 rankings.
The University of Utah is No. 14 in the preseason AP poll. Utah State received 8 votes in the “Others receiving votes” category.

Utah is the third highest-ranked Pac-12 team and the highest and only ranked team in the South Division.
Oregon is ranked higher at No. 11 ahead of their big matchup with Auburn.
Washington is just ahead of the Utes at No. 13.
Washington State is No. 23 and Stanford cracks the rankings at No. 25.
