SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The final preseason projections are getting released and ESPN put out their All-American teams.
Utah’s senior defensive tackle Leki Fotu was named to the list.
Fotu was one of three Pac-12 players to be named a preseason All-American, along with Oregon guard Shane Lemieux and Stanford tackle Walker Little.

ESPN said this about Fotu in the article:
An absolute mountain of a man, the 6-foot-5, 335-pound Fotu might as well be a mountain for the Utes in the middle of their defensive line. Good luck budging Fotu, even when you double-team him. And as dominant as Fotu has been up front, his best football is ahead of him, and there’s a reason Utah coach Kyle Whittingham doesn’t shy away from mentioning Fotu and former Utah great Luther Ellis in the same sentence.
Fotu was named a captain and a member of the leadership council last week and is expected to have a big season.
He was one of four players for Utah that could have put their name in the NFL Draft, but decided to return, along with defensive end Bradlee Anae, safety Julian Blackmon and running back Zack Moss.
