Nigel Williams-Goss, 2017 Second-Round Pick, Signs With Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz made it official with their 2017 second-round pick (55th overall) Nigel Williams-Goss. He will return to Salt Lake City after playing in Serbia.
Williams-Goss was picked by the Utah Jazz in the same draft class that Donovan Mitchell and Tony Bradley was selected.
In 2017, Mitchell was drafted by the Jazz with the 13th pick, Bradley taken with the 28th pick and Williams-Goss at number 55.

“Dennis [Lindsey] and I had a lot of talks over the last two years,” Williams-Goss said in an interview with NBA.com. “It got to the point where I said even if I never come back to Utah, I appreciate how much support you guys are giving me while I’m over here.”

Williams-Goss has spent the past two seasons overseas playing with KK Partizan of the ABA league in Serbia and with Olympiacos of the A1 league in Greece.
In 2017-18, Williams-Goss earned 2018 Serbian Cup MVP honors after leading KK Partizan to championship glory. During that season he averaged 17.4 points per game, 7 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 30.8 minutes.

In 2018-19, he averaged 10.1 points per game, 4.4 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 25.7 minutes.
Williams-Goss, who famously played his college ball at Gonzaga, will wear the number 0 for the Utah Jazz.
