The Aggies enter riding a ten-game winning streak against SJSU but are 20-20-1 all-time against the Spartans. USU became bowl-eligible with a come-from-behind 35-31 win over San Jose State in Logan last November.

USU has faced a difficult early schedule. Opponents in the Aggies four losses have combined for a 24-2 overall record with both No. 22 Air Force and No. 24 Iowa registering in the top-25 rankings.
USU heads into week eight as the only team in the country that has two receivers with at least eight touchdown grabs. Junior Jalen Royals’ nine touchdowns are tied for the most in the nation while Terrell Vaughn has found the end zone eight times. With Royals and Vaughn leading the way, USU joins Washington and LSU as the only teams in the country with two receivers averaging better than 87 receiving yards per game.
