SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU and current New Orleans Saints standout Taysom Hill scored a go-ahead touchdown on international turf against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Saints hosted the Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sunday, October 2.
With 9:29 left in the fourth quarter, Hill lined up at quarterback before taking the direct snap and running it to the right side of the offensive line and through a hole into the end zone for a touchdown.
Hill’s score and two-point conversion from Andy Dalton to Jarvis Landry gave New Orleans a 22-19 lead.

After the score, Hill had five carries for 21 yards and a touchdown.
Hill’s touchdown capped a nine-play, 75-yard drive that lasted 4:45.
It was Hill’s second touchdown run of the season. He entered the game with one catch for two yards and seven carries for 95 yards and a score this season. It was also the former BYU star’s third game of the season after he missed New Orleans’ Week 3 game due to injury.
Prior to his NFL career, the Idaho native was a quarterback at BYU. Hill is in his fifth NFL season, all with the Saints.
This offseason, the ex-Cougar signal-caller transitioned from quarterback to tight end.
New Orleans’ game against Minnesota is televised on NFL Network.
