SALT LAKE CITY – The 2022 NFL regular season is here and the games get started with an exciting matchup as the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams host the Buffalo Bills.
The Rams will host the Bills at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Thursday, September 8. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:20 p.m. (MDT). The pregame show begins at 5 p.m. (MDT).
Los Angeles will open its 2022 slate and its title defense against one of the AFC’s top teams in the Bills.
Last season, the Bills had an 11-6 record and reached the Division Round of the postseason before falling in overtime to the Kansas City Chiefs. L.A. went 12-5 in the regular season before beating the Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Francisco 49ers, and Cincinnati Bengals in the playoffs and capturing the Lombardi Trophy.
Four hours before kickoff, ESPN’S Football Power Index gave the Rams a 55.7 percent chance of winning the season opener.
