#LocalsInTheNFL: Players On NFL Rosters Entering 2022 Regular Season

SALT LAKE CITY – The 2022 NFL season is nearly here and the league’s 32 franchises have reduced their active rosters the maximum number of players allowed following the conclusion of training camp and preseason.

Following the 53-man active roster cuts, more than 50 local players made NFL rosters ahead of the regular season.

Here are the players with ties to the state of Utah that are on active rosters as of August 30:

NFL Regular Season Begins

Week One of the 2022 NFL season begins when the reigning Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams host the Buffalo Bills on Thursday, September 8. The game will start at 6:20 p.m. and will be televised on KSL TV.

The first full Sunday slate of games will take place on September 11.
