Report: SUU OL Braxton Jones To Visit Broncos, Other Teams Before Draft

SALT LAKE CITY – Southern Utah offensive lineman Braxton Jones plans to visit the Denver Broncos “along with several” other teams ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft, according to Pro Football Network‘s Aaron Wilson.
The NFL reporter shared details about the former Thunderbird’s pre-draft schedule on Wednesday, April 6.
“Southern Utah tackle Braxton Jones has busy schedule ahead of NFL draft,” Wilson tweeted. “Jones’ activity includes a visit with the Denver Broncos along with several others, according to NFL sources, and several private workouts, including the New Orleans Saints.”
Wilson also reported that Jones has held multiple private workouts. Jones also reportedly worked out for the New Orleans Saints. Jones has also met with around 2/3 of the teams in the league, according to Wilson.

Jacob Infante of The Draft Wire reported in March that Jones met with the Chicago Bears.
The #Bears have met with Southern Utah OT Braxton Jones, per source.
Jones stood out at the Senior Bowl and was one of the top OT testers at the Combine. Athletic lineman who dominated at the FCS level.

The Murray, Utah native played at SUU from 2017-21.

Jones and the Thunderbirds finished the 2021 season with a 1-10 record and finished in 13th place in the Big Sky Conference.
The Murray High product was honored as an All-Big Sky First Team selection, Hero Sports FCS All-American selection, and Associated Press FCS First Team All-America selection.

Jones measured in at six-foot-five-inches tall and 310 lbs. He also measured with 35 3/8 inch arms and 10 1/4 inch hands.

- 20-Yard Shuttle- 4.84 seconds
2022 NFL Draft
The draft is scheduled to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada from April 28-30.
It will be broadcast on ESPN and NFL Network.
