Jazz Guard Jordan Clarkson Torches Nuggets With Early Three-Pointers

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson set the net on fire with a barrage of early three-pointers during Utah’s game against the Denver Nuggets.
The Nuggets hosted the Jazz at Ball Arena on Sunday, January 16.
Clarkson subbed into the contest with 4:18 remaining in the opening quarter.
He proceeded to shoot a trio of triples to help the Jazz build a lead.

The Missouri product’s first three dropped with 2:42 left in the first quarter.
Clarkson’s next three points came from the free throw line after he was fouled on an attempt from distance.
His next triple connected with 30.0 seconds left in the quarter.
With 1.3 seconds to go, Clarkson knocked down his third three in as many attempts.
Clarkson had a team-high 12 points on 3-3 shooting from beyond the arc. He added one rebound and posted a plus-seven rating during his first 4:18 on the court.

This season, Clarkson is averaging 15.3 points per game on 40.1 percent shooting, including 31.9 percent from downtown.
