Balanced Offensive Attack Leads Weber State To Win Over Vandals

SALT LAKE CITY – The Idaho Vandals (0-4, 3-11) kept it close for fifteen minutes before Weber State (4-1, 11-5) pulled away for a 84-74 win in Ogden.
The Wildcats hosted the Vandals at the Dee Events Center in Ogden, Utah, on Thursday, January 13.

Weber State closed the first half on a 10-4 run to open up an 11 point halftime advantage, 38-27.
In the second half, the run increased to 16-5 before Idaho knocked down their first shot from the field with 15:45 left. By that point the Wildcats held a 44-30 advantage.
Weber State saw five players score in double figures led by JJ Overton and Seikou Sisoho Jawara’s 18 points. Koby McEwen dropped 12 points, Dillon Jones scored 11 and Dyson Koehler added 11 points off of the bench.

Mikey Dixon’s 19 points led all Vandal scorers.
The Wildcats are back in action on Monday, January 17 as they travel north to take on the Idaho State Bengals in Pocatello, Idaho. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. (MDT) and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
