Bogdanovic, O’Neale Propel Jazz Run To Overcome Double-Digit Deficit To Warriors

SALT LAKE CITY – Bojan Bogdanovic and Royce O’Neale helped propel a big run by the Utah Jazz to overcome a double-digit deficit to the Golden State Warriors.
The Jazz hosted the Warriors at Vivint Arena on Saturday, January 1.
After trailing by 14 points at halftime and as many as 16 points during the contest, Bogdanovic and O’Neale propelled the Jazz during a big run in the third quarter.
The forwards knocked down a few three-pointers during a 28-10 run by the Jazz to start the second half.

The pair hit back-to-back triples to give the Jazz a 78-74 lead with 5:02 left in the third quarter.
It was Utah’s first lead since 14-12 in the opening quarter.
During the first half, the Jazz shot 4-21 for 19 percent from beyond the arc. During the third quarter alone, the Jazz shot 6-10 from distance.

At the end of the quarter, Utah owned a 91-86 advantage.
During the first 36 minutes of game time, had 17 points on 6-12 shooting, including 3-8 from deep. He added four rebounds and one steal in 27 minutes on the floor. O’Neale had 14 points on 5-7 shooting, including 2-4 from three. He also had three rebounds and an assist in 27 minutes.
Bogdanovic is averaging 17.6 points per game on 47.8 percent shooting, including 42.6 percent from downtown. O’Neale averages 7.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per contest.
