Wildcats Lose Final Non-Conference Tilt Against Fresno State

SALT LAKE CITY – The Weber State Wildcats fell to a 9-4 record after losing at home to Fresno State in their final non-conference game, 69-43.
The Wildcats hosted the Bulldogs (10-3) at the Dee Events Center in Ogden, UT. on Thursday, December 23.

A fast Bulldog start put Weber State behind the eight ball when the first four baskets made were three’s, and left Fresno with a 12-7 advantage with 15:50 remaining.
From there, Fresno State used a series of runs to build a 26-point halftime advantage, 44-18.
The Bulldogs were led by Orlando Robinson’s 22 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots.
Weber State finished with two players in double-figure scoring. JJ Overton led them with 12 and Koby McEwen had 10.
The Wildcats are off for the next six days as a holiday break but will return to action on Thursday, December 30 at Montana State. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. (MDT) and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
