Schefter sent out a thread of tweets with a statement from Jaguars owner Shad Khan.
“After deliberation over many weeks and a thorough analysis of the entirety of Urban’s tenure with our team, I am bitterly disappointed to arrive at the conclusion that an immediate change is imperative for everyone,” Khan told Schefter. “I informed Urban of the change this evening. As I stated in October, regaining our trust and respect was essential. Regrettably, it did not happen.”

It’s been a rough month for Meyer that got worse from his first incident in October when video revealed an incident with a woman at his bar in Ohio. Just this month, reports surfaced that Meyer had a heated argument with wide receiver Marvin Jones, along with turmoil with his assistant coaches.
On Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Times released a story with a conversation with former Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo, who claims that Meyer kicked him during warmups earlier this season.
