BYU WR Keanu Hill Blocks ISU Punt, Recovers For Touchdown

PROVO, Utah – BYU wide receiver Keanu Hill blocked an Idaho State punt and recovered the ball inside the end zone for a touchdown.
The No. 15 Cougars hosted the Bengals at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, November 6.
With 4:18 left in the fourth quarter, Bengals punter Kevin Ryan attempted to kick the ball on a 4th & 3 play from the ISU 10-yard line.
Hill broke into the backfield after he went unblocked by the Bengals. The Cougar wideout blocked Ryan’s drop kick with two arms before jumping on the ball for a recovery inside the end zone.
The fumble recovery resulted in a touchdown.
Hill’s score added to his big day and was BYU’s first punt return for a touchdown since 2004.

The fumble recovery touchdown stretched BYU’s lead to 59-14.
The Cougars held on for the 45-point win.
Hill finished the game with four catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns, including one on the receiving end.
With the win, Hill and the Cougars improved their record to 8-2 this season.

BYU has a bye week before playing at Georgia Southern on Saturday, November 20 at 2 p.m. (MDT).
