Puka Nacua Makes Tremendous Catch Leading To BYU TD Grab

PROVO, Utah – BYU wide receiver Puka Nacua made a tremendous catch before making another great play for a touchdown against Idaho State.
Midway through the second quarter, Jaren Hall threw a deep ball to Puka Nacua for a 42-yard gain that brought BYU to the ISU 23-yard line. On the very next play, Hall hit Nacua on a back shoulder throw in the end zone with a defender draped on him.
That gave BYU a 35-0 lead with 7:33 to play in the first half.

Nacua hauled in his third touchdown of the season, which has tied his total in two seasons at Washington. That TD throw by Hall was his third of the game, 15th of the season and 16th of his career.
Near the end of the second quarter, Nacua was up to six catches for 120 yards and one TD. Hall completed 17 of his 21 pass attempts for 248 yards and three touchdowns.
