SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz forward Joe Ingles scored a layup after a nifty fake pass during the opening minutes of Utah’s game against the Atlanta Hawks.
The Hawks hosted the Jazz at State Farm Arena on Thursday, November 4.
With 7:35 remaining in the opening quarter, Ingles drove the lane before looking off the defense with a fake pass. After tricking the Hawks’ defense, the Jazzman shot the ball off the glass and into the bucket for two points.
The field goal was Ingles’ second make of the quarter. The forward’s first bucket came on a 25-foot three-pointer two minutes prior to the layup.
Ingles’ layup cut Atlanta’s lead to 9-7.
