Donovan Mitchell Questionable For Jazz Road Trip Opener Against Hawks
SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz announced on Wednesday afternoon that Donovan Mitchell is questionable and five other players were listed on the injury report.
The Jazz begin a three-game road trip on Thursday in Atlanta to face the Hawks.
Donovan Mitchell tweaked his ankle late in the second quarter on Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings where he walked it off straight to the locker room. He returned and scored 17 of his 36 points in the third quarter to help the Jazz knock off the Kings.
Also listed on the injury report is Rudy Gay, who is still out with a right heel injury. Royce O’Neale sprained his ankle in the second half of Tuesday’s game against the Kings. He is questionable for Thursday’s game.
Rookie Jared Butler is probable for the game against the Hawks with a non-COVID illness. Hassan Whiteside is also probable despite suffering an ankle injury.
The only Jazz player that is ruled out to this point is Udoka Azubuike, who is on G-League assignment with the Salt Lake City Stars.
Tip-off between the Jazz and Hawks on Thursday, November 4 is at 5:30 p.m. MT on AT&T SportsNet and The Zone Sports Network.
