BYU RB Tyler Allgeier Powers For Third Touchdown Run Against USU

LOGAN, Utah – BYU running back Tyler Allgeier powered across the goal line for his third rushing touchdown of the Cougars’ game against the Utah State Aggies.
The Aggies hosted the Cougars at Maverik Stadium on Friday, October 1.
With 8:40 left in the fourth quarter, Allgeier ran the ball for the third consecutive play and barreled through USU defenders into the end zone for a one-yard touchdown.
It was Allgeier’s third rushing touchdown of the game and gave BYU a 34-20 lead over Utah State.

Two plays before the score, Allgeier got the Cougars near the goal line with a 67-yard burst.

After the touchdown run, the sophomore running back had 18 carries for 176 yards and three touchdowns. He also had three receptions for 22 yards.
Allgeier has run for seven touchdowns this season.
