USU QB Bonner Hits WR Bowling For Deep TD To Open Game Against North Dakota

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah State football opened its game against North Dakota with a deep touchdown pass from Logan Bonner to Brandon Bowling.
The Aggies hosted the Fighting Hawks at Maverik Stadium on Friday, September 10.
North Dakota began the contest with a touchdown on its opening drive.
With 9:46 remaining in the first quarter, USU capped its first offensive possession with a deep touchdown from Bonner to Bowling.
Bonner connected with Bowling for a 54-yard strike.
Bowling’s touchdown tied the game at 7-7.

Following the play, Bonner was 4/5 passing for 70 yards and a touchdown. All four of his completion were to Bowling, who had four receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown.
In addition to the passing game on the Aggies’ first offensive drive, Calvin Tyler Jr. ran the ball twice for 15 yards.
