Hayden Livingston Seals BYU Victory With Interception Of Arizona QB Gunner Cruz

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – BYU safety Hayden Livingston sealed a win for the Cougars with an interception late in the fourth quarter against the Arizona Wildcats.
The Cougars and Wildcats played at Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders, on Saturday, September 4.
With 5:54 left in the game, Wildcats quarterback Gunner Cruz unleashed a deep pass into the end zone.
Livingston picked off the pass and the Cougars took possession at the 20-yard line.
BYU held on for a 24-16 victory.

It was Livingston’s first career interception.
Cruz finished the game 35/46 passing for 336 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
With the win, BYU moved to a 1-0 record to start the season.
The Cougars’ next game is against the No. 24 Utah Utes on Saturday, September 11 at 8:15 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on ESPN and KSL NewsRadio 102.7 FM and 1160 AM.
