Seven Weber State Wildcats Named To Big Sky Preseason All-Conference Football Team

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Seven Weber State football players received Big Sky Preseason All-Conference honors for the upcoming 2021 campaign.
The Wildcats were named to the preseason team during Big Sky Kickoff on Monday, July 26.
Weber State had a league-high seven players selected to the preseason All-Conference squad.

The Wildcats named to the Big Sky Preseason All-Conference team are:
- Josh Davis
- Ty Whitworth
- Rashid Shaheed
- Conner Mortensen
- Jared Schiess
- George Tarlas
- Eddie Heckard
All seven players are coming off a 2021 spring season in which they earned All-Big Sky recognition.
The Big Sky Preseason All-Conference team was selected by the media.
Weber State was picked to win the Big Sky in the conference’s preseason media and coaches polls. The Wildcats received seven first-place votes in the preseason coaches poll and 14 first-place votes in the preseason media poll.

The Wildcats have won the Big Sky in each of the last four football seasons.
Weber State kicks off the 2021 season against the Utah Utes on September 2.
