Jazz Center Rudy Gobert Sends Clippers’ DeMarcus Cousins To Floor With Massive Block

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz center Rudy Gobert crushed DeMarcus Cousins with a block sent the Clippers big man to the floor with a massive block during Utah’s postseason game against Los Angeles.
The Jazz hosted the Clippers at Vivint Arena for Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Thursday, June 10.
With 1:29 left in the first half, Gobert swatted a layup attempt by Cousins.
The three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year’s rejection sent the Clippers center falling to the hardwood.

Gobert’s block landed in the hands of Joe Ingles.
The Jazz forward dribbled down the court before connecting on a stepback three-pointer over Clippers star Paul George.
Ingles’ triple extended Utah’s lead to 60-50 with 1:19 remaining in the second quarter.

At halftime, the Jazz owned a 66-53 advantage.
Gobert finished the half with five points on 1-1 field goals. He added nine rebounds and three blocks. Gobert posted a plus-13 rating during his 16 minutes on the court.
Ingles had nine points on 3-5 shooting in the first half.
Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz with 27 points during the first two quarters.

Kawhi Leonard had 14 points to carry the Clippers.
