SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell put Clippers guard Patrick Beverley on skates with a crossover in Game 2 on Thursday night.
With 4:28 remaining in the first quarter, Patrick Beverley was guarding Donovan Mitchell at the top of the three-point line. Mitchell went around a screen that was set by Derrick Favors then the all-star went back to his right, leaving Beverley in the dust as he went around another Favors screen and drilled a midrange jumper.
That play gave the Jazz a 24-16 lead in the first quarter.
