SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder motivated his all-star guard Donovan Mitchell during a timeout while the coach was mic’d up.
On national television broadcasts, the coaches and usually one player from each team has a mic throughout the game and the audio was clearly caught during a timeout between Quin Snyder and Donovan Mitchell which was aired on TNT.
Normally, the mic’d up moments are not that insightful but this one between Snyder and Mitchell was special.
“This is where it’s at, you know what I am saying?” Snyder said. “You just keep getting your mind right and it overcomes everything just like you are doing, okay? Let’s go. Do it on D (defense), it will happen on O (offense).”
