Donovan Mitchell Receives Loud Welcome, Buries Triple To Start Game 2 Against Grizzlies

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell received a warm welcome from the crowd at Vivint Arena and knocked down a three-pointer to start Game 2 against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Jazz hosted the Grizzlies for the second game of the first round postseason series on Wednesday, May 26.
Warm Welcome
Prior to tip-off, the home crowd cheered a Mitchell ran onto the court for the Utah’s final warmups.
It was Mitchell’s first game since April 16, when he suffered a right ankle sprain.

First Shot
With 10:13 remaining in the first quarter, Mitchell connected on his first bucket of the contest, a three-pointer.
Mitchell’s 26-foot triple gave Utah an early 5-2 lead.

The game was also special for Mitchell as the Jazzman debuted the third edition of his signature Adidas basketball shoes, D.O.N Issue #3.
During warmups, Mitchell sported a purple colorway of the new kicks.
