Kyle Whittingham Cracks Top 20 List Of Best Power-5 Head Coaches

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – University of Utah head football coach Kyle Whittingham cracked the top 20 list of best Power-5 head coaches in the country.
Kyle Whittingham came in at No. 16 on the list and is the second-highest ranked Pac-12 coach, trailing Oregon’s Mario Cristobal, who is No. 14.
The list comes from “Big Game Boomer” who is a Oklahoma alum and a “college football rankings guru.”

The list features the top 50 coaches in the power-5 ranks. Seven of the Pac-12 coaches made the list, including Cristobal (No. 14), Whittingham (No. 16), ASU’s Herm Edwards (No. 18), Stanford’s David Shaw (No. 23), Washington’s Jimmy Lake (No. 33), USC’s Clay Helton (No. 36) and UCLA’s Chip Kelly (No. 40).
Washington State’s Nick Rolovich, California’s Justin Wilcox, Arizona’s Jedd Fisch, Colorado’s Karl Dorrell and Oregon State’s Jonathan Smith did not make the list.
