Jordan Clarkson Catches Fire From Three During Nuggets/Jazz Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson got hot from distance during the opening quarter of Utah’s game against the Denver Nuggets.
The Jazz hosted the Nuggets on Friday, May 7.
During the first quarter, Clarkson hit a trio of three-pointers during a stretch of 1:05 of game time.
The Sixth Man of the Year Candidate connected on his first field goal of the contest with a 27-footer with 2:54 to go in the quarter.
22 seconds later, Clarkson drilled a 26-foot pull-up.
With 1:49 remaining in the first quarter, the guard buried his third straight attempt from deep.

Clarkson’s triples helped the Jazz to a 12-3 run.
His third three tied the contest at 33.
At the end of the quarter, the Jazz trailed the Nuggets, 41-40.
During the opening quarter, Clarkson had nine points on 3-5 field goals, including 3-4 from beyond the arc. He also added two assists.
Clarkson posted a plus-seven rating during his first eight minutes of action.

Jazz shot 68.2 percent overall and 50.0 percent from three during the first 12 minutes of the game.
