TNT’s Ernie Johnson Makes Strong Prediction Regarding Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – TNT Inside The NBA host Ernie Johnson made a strong prediction regarding the Utah Jazz ahead of their postseason run.

The NBA on TNT crew featuring Ernie Johnson, Kenny “The Jet” Smith, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal gave their predictions on the upcoming NBA Playoffs, which will involve the Jazz.

They each gave a bold prediction. Johnson took those predictions and put them on a sticky note and put it on the glass that is separating the hosts due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The one prediction that stands out to the Utah Jazz fans was the one that Johnson gave.

“Utah is going to the Finals,” Johnson stated.

Smith, Barkley and O’Neal were surprised by the prediction from the Emmy Award winning broadcaster. O’Neal predicted that the Dallas Mavericks will avoid the play-in tournament. Barkley thinks the Denver Nuggets will beat the Los Angeles Lakers in the postseason. Smith predicted that the Portland Trail Blazers will not be in the play-in tournament and the Lakers will be in the play-in tournament without LeBron James.

The Jazz currently have the best record in the NBA at 48-18. They are one game ahead of the Phoenix Suns, 3.5 games ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers, 4 games ahead of the Denver Nuggets and 10 games ahead of the Dallas Mavericks.
