Bojan Bogdanovic Keeps Jazz Close To Wizards With Big Third Quarter

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic kept Utah close to the Washington Wizards with a big performance in the third quarter on Monday.
Bojan Bogdanovic scored 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting from the field and 3-for-3 from the three-point line in the third quarter to keep the Jazz close to the Wizards. Bogey had 28 points heading into the fourth quarter.
Washington had a 98-88 lead at the end of the third quarter.

Donovan Mitchell had a great first quarter, scoring 17 points. That was the most points in Mitchell’s career in the first quarter. But after that, the Jazz all-star went cold, scoring four points, while shooting 1-of-11 from the field and 0-for-3 in the second and third quarters.
Washington outscored the Jazz 28-23 in the third quarter. Bradley Beal led the way with 27 points, while Russell Westbrook had a triple-double with 18 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists.
Utah was playing without Mike Conley (right hamstring injury management) and Jordan Clarkson (ankle sprain).
The Jazz are currently in the middle of a five-game homestand. They will return to action on Tuesday, April 13 when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. on AT&T SportsNet.
