Rudy Gobert Throws No-Look Pass To Miye Oni For Open Three

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert isn’t known for his passing but he made a terrific pass to Miye Oni in the first quarter against the Wizards.
Late in the opening period, Rudy Gobert had the ball in the paint when he met a Wizards defender, he looked straight ahead of him while throwing an angle pass to Miye Oni in the corner for a three-pointer.
The play gave the Jazz a 39-30 lead with 48 seconds left in the first quarter.

Utah had a great first quarter, outscoring the Wizards 42-33 with Donovan Mitchell scoring a career-high 17 points. It’s the most points he scored in the first quarter in his career. But the Wizards bounced back in the second quarter outscoring the Jazz 37-23 to take a 70-65 lead into the halftime break.
Mitchell scored just two points in the second quarter and had 19 at the break to lead the Jazz. Bojan Bogdanovic added 17 points, while Joe Ingles had 11. Utah was playing without Mike Conley (right hamstring injury management) and Jordan Clarkson (ankle sprain).
Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 23 points. Russell Westbrook had 11 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists.
The Jazz are currently in the middle of a five-game homestand. They will return to action on Tuesday, April 13 when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. on AT&T SportsNet.
