Gobert Block, Great Passing Leads To Ingles Three-Pointer During Jazz/Celtics Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A blocked shot by Rudy Gobert and excellent passing by the Jazz ended a sequence with a three-pointer by Joe Ingles during Utah’s game against the Boston Celtics.
The Celtics hosted the Jazz at TD Garden in Boston on Tuesday, March 16.
With 8:11 to go in the third quarter, Gobert rejected a field goal attempt by Boston’s Daniel Theis.

On Utah’s following possession, six passes were made before a wide-open Ingles received the ball from Mike Conley and buried a three-pointer.

Ingles’ shot stretched Utah’s lead to 65-59.
The sequence was characterized by KSL Sports’ Ben Anderson as “the best Jazz possession of the second half of the season.”

The block was Gobert’s second of the contest.
Ingles’ triple was his fourth of the game and gave him 14 points.
