Jordan Clarkson Fires Up Jazz Offense, Makes Trios Of Threes In 80 Seconds Against Celtics

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson ignited Utah’s offensive by connecting on a trio of three-pointers in less than 80 seconds during the second quarter against the Boston Celtics.
The Celtics hosted the Jazz at TD Garden in Boston on Tuesday, March 16.
With 9:17 left in the quarter, Clarkson buried a triple from 27-feet out.
29 seconds later, the Sixth Man of the Year candidate drilled another shot from beyond the arc.
With 7:58 remaining until halftime, Clarkson rose up from 28-feet and connected on another three.

The nine points gave Utah a 36-33 lead and were part of a 9-2 run.
After the burst of threes, Clarkson had nine points on 3-6 field goals, including 3-5 from downtown.

He also had one rebound and one assist at that point in the contest.
Clarkson posted a plus-five rating during his first 12 minutes on the hardwood.
That stretch was the first time the Jazz have looked like the Jazz since the All-Star break.

At halftime, the Jazz owned a 54-53 lead.
Clarkson led the Jazz with 14 points. Joe Ingles was Utah’s second-leading scorer with 11 points.
Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 12 points. Jayson Tatum and Daniel Theis each added 11 points.
Utah’s game against Boston is broadcast on TNT and 97.5 FM.
