SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Region titles are on the line during the final week of the regular season in prep girls basketball.
Dusty Litster and Dane Stewart from Game Night Live Rewind went classification-by-classification in the latest edition of their talk show to break down the leaders in each region, and their favorites to win in each class.
6A: Fremont is really, really, really good
Litster is a big fan of what the 20-0 Silverwolves are doing this season.
“This is a team on a mission,” Litster said.
Stewart agreed.
“I personally think this is a squat on a mission,” Stewart said. “This Fremont team looks as good as ever.”
Crossovers, euro-steps, three-pointers and comebacks highlight the best plays from girls basketball in Week 12 of the high school season.

5A: Undefeateds in region play
There are multiple teams with undefeated records in region play as the regular season comes to an end.
“Right now, there are three teams that are undefeated in region play in the four regions,” Stewart highlighted. “You’ve got Springville, Lehi, and Farmington all undefeated in their regions and Olympus just has one region loss. I think that we see a couple of leaders to make big runs in the playoffs this year in those teams I think Highland is right there as well.”
4A: Rolling Thunder
The Desert Hills Thunder are coming off of a season sweep of Pine View and are 12-0 in region games.
“They got to be the favorite in 4A,” Litster said.
“You look at what they’ve done inside their region, inside their classification, and they appear to be the cream of the crop,” Stewart added. “I would agree with you I think they would be my front runner in 4A.”
