Game Night Live Rewind: Buzzer Beaters Highlight Top Plays From Week 12 Of Prep Hoops

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The high school basketball season in the state of Utah is winding down but the top plays and performances have heated up.
Game Night Live Rewind went through the Week 12 action and recognized the top plays from the week in high school boys basketball.
Here are the top plays and performances from Game Night Live Rewind.
#5 Slick Pass From Murray Guard
Murray guard Jaxson Workman made an impressive pass ahead of forward Chudi Anosike for an easy layup. As Workman was going to the right wing, he threw the ball on the run with his right hand towards the paint. The pass was so well thrown that Anosike was able to run into it for the catch and finish with a reverse layup.
Hillcrest beat the Spartans 48-41. Workman recorded 5 points and 5 assists, while Anosike had 15 points and 6 rebounds as Murray is 6-15 on the season heading into the final two games of the year.

#4 Bingham Big Man Throws Down Alley-oop Slam While Getting Fouled
Bingham center Devin Carlson put his defender on a poster as he threw down a dunk. Devin is the brother of Utes center Branden Carlson. He handed the ball off at the top of the arc. Then he rolled to the rim after setting a pick. The Bingham guard threw up the alley-oop and threw down the two-handed jam while getting pushed.
Bingham beat Herriman 61-53. Carlson finished with 14 points. The Miners are 14-5 on the year and will play their final two regular season games this week.

Juab big man Dawson Olsen stole an inbounds pass at midcourt then went the other way and threw down a one-handed dunk over a defender. Olsen led the Wasps to a 53-39 win over the American Leadership by scoring 17 points.

#2 Cyprus Guard Hits 9 Threes In Win Over Granger
Cyprus guard Diego Mulford knocked down 8 threes in the first half and 9 the entire game to go with his 29 points. The Pirates beat Granger 81-51 on the road. Cyprus is 13-8 on the year and will play their final two regular season games this week.

#1 Summit Academy Sneaks In Layup At Buzzer To Beat Grantsville
With one second on the clock and Grantsville holding a 41-40 lead. Summit Academy had the ball on their own baseline. Owen Anderson started running from one sideline to the other when he stopped at the free throw line and changed direction. The ball was thrown perfectly to him and Anderson finished the layup before the horn sounded.
Anderson had 10 points in their 42-41 win over the Cowboys. They finished the regular season with a 10-12 record.
