Niners Lineman Corbin Kaufusi Plays Fortnite With Ninja For Operation Underground Railroad

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current San Francisco 49ers lineman Corbin Kaufusi joined video game phenom Ninja in playing “Fornite” on behalf of Operation Underground Railroad in the @TwitchRivals #StreamerBowl.
Operation Underground Railroad helps rescue children from sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.
Ninja, whose real name is Tyler Blevins, owns a number of records in the gaming community regarding viewership of his streams, including the length of time spent viewing, and most viewers for a single stream. He has 16.7 million followers on Twitch, 24.2 million subscribers on YouTube, and 6.5 million followers on Twitter.
This is not Ninja’s first time playing video games with a local athlete. In 2020, Blevins and Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell played “Call of Duty” together.

Corbin Kaufusi’s NFL Career
Kaufusi joined San Francisco on January 15.

Prior to his time in the NFL, Kaufusi played at BYU from 2016-18.
After his time in Provo, Kaufusi went undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Following the Draft, Kaufusi signed a deal with the New Orleans Saints. He was released by the Saints during the final roster cuts before the 2019 season.
Kaufusi was signed by the New York Jets a practice squad player in October 2019. Two months later, he signed a Reserve/Future deal with the Jets.

In September 2020, the Jets waived Kaufusi before re-adding him to the practice squad.
Kaufusi is joining a Niners team that went 6-10 in the 2020 season.
