Due to the time difference, Finau will be playing when most of his fans are asleep. Wednesday evening at 11:50 p.m. he will tee it up off the 10th tee and Friday morning at 4:20 a.m. off the first tee will be when fans can watch. He will be playing alongside Shane Lowry and Sergio Garcia, two of Europe’s best and most prestigious golfers.
Following the previous two weeks of success for Finau, he has seen a rise in his rankings. Finau is now ranked as the 15th best golfer in the world according to the Official World Golf Rankings and jumped into 17th in the FedEx Cup Rankings.
Unfortunately, Finau is still yet to prove that he can get over the hump and win a second PGA Tour event. His lone win on the Tour came in 2016 when he won the Puerto Rico Open.
Finau has never won on the European Tour since turning pro in 2007.
His next appearance on the PGA Tour will come in a handful of weeks when he participates in the Genesis Open at Riviera Golf Course which begins on February 18th.
